Product Description
The Wolfgang Puck 7-Cup Rice Maker lets you make plentiful portions of perfectly cooked rice without the hassle of timers, boiling-over pots or incomplete cooking. And with the steaming basket insert, you can convert your cooker into a steamer for vegetables, seafood and more.
Let's face it, what ought to be the simple task of making well-prepared rice is often anything but. If you aren't struggling to find the perfect heat to cook it without boiling over, you're burning your fingers in the steam, burning rice in the pan or ending up with one big, super-sticky rice blob.
But with the Wolfgang Puck rice cooker, making rice really is as easy as the packages make it sound. Just pour in the amount of rice you want to cook, add water to the appropriate line on the nonstick cooking pot, close the locking lid and turn the cooker on.
When the rice is done, the cooker switches over to the keep-warm function automatically, so your rice is perfectly cooked and ready to eat when you are finished with your other preparations. And since your rice pan won't be steaming and spewing starchy foam all over your stovetop, you'll have an extra burner free to use in your other cooking tasks.

The one I bought was refurbished, and after about four years it was slowly but surely dying. My niece gave me a new cooker, from Black & Decker, and I'm using that now. The Wolfgang Puck 7-Cup Rice Cooker is everything it's supposed to be. I've baked cakes in it, I've made stew, I've steamed vegetables and pastries, and of course it's wonderful at cooking rice. Beans are a dream. Steel-cut oats are easy. Pasta is quite doable. Not good for Malt-O-Meal. I even made yogurt, though that's a bit tricky. I used the heck out of that thing, and even with it being a refurbished model I feel that I got my money's worth and then some. My next cooker will probably be another Wolfgang Puck, unless I have extra money and decide to splurge on a fuzzy logic.

love the rice cooker! rice turns out okay - soft and fluffy. the cooker looks great on kitchen counter-top too. love the stainless steel vs. the usual boring, bland white-color rice cookers. thanks again, wolfgang!
