My wife has been using this microwave onion cooker for quite a while, so we go two more. Mind, the instructions say to cook the onion for some 10 minutes, while we do it for 3 minutes. My wife says if you follow the instructions you come up with mush. I do know that three minutes seems to be perfect. I do love sweet onions cooked in his microwave cooker!

I got two of these when buying onions last year. I gave my sister one and realized I needed another so I found them here. Two minutes each in microwave and you have cooked onions to add to steak or pork chops. Not as good tasting as fried but good enough to save the added grease and time cooking. I use most when onions are too sharp and need to be sweetened.

I was disappointed to receive the 1st set in completely broken state. This was a gift replacement for my older mother. She had to deal with the replacement process (not ideal) but the 2nd set did arrive intact.
