Comment: If you are wanting no muss, no fuss, perfect every time rice; then I suggest the Tiger Rice Cooker. Most of the time kitchen gadgets end up getting shelved and dusty from lack of use. I can honestly say, my Tiger Rice Cooker gets used each week at least once if not more times! If you love rice, then you'll love this no fuss rice cooker! I highly recommend it!

Comment: I've had this rice cooker for 9 years now and have used it at least weekly for that long. I also will leave it on for days with the rice warming. It's durable, dependable. I have also cooked other things in it- leave wild rice in for at least 30 mins after the warming light is on- also have cooked wheatberries and quinoa without any problems. Very easy. Gets a little gummy with the steam drain, but that happens on all of them. Very easy to clean. After 9 years, the inside pot is a little scratched, but rice doesn't stick- I have to say on occasion I used metal utensils and this is where the scratches came from.
I also like that it has 1 button only. You don't have to keep on pulling out a user manual or worry about an lcd screen.
The size is good too- for maybe up to 4-6 people.

Comment: Took us 8+ years to try this style of cooker. Better results than the usual rice-cooker and very easy.
Semi-pressure cooker design. (MUCH) More than worth the extra cost.
We use it almost every day.

The Tiger Rice cooker is the perfect size for me and rice is always perfect. The steam and the mess is gone. The snap tight lid is the the reason it is so much neater than my previous rice cookers. It is worth spending just a little extra to get a great product. The rice stays hot as long as it is plugged in which makes it nice for those second helpings. It makes plenty of rice for 4-6 servings. Buy it - you'll love it.
