Product Description
Brief instruction: *Refer to the water line when adding water to cook rice. *Make sure the water level does not exceed the highest water capacity of the line reading 250. *Make sure the vapor hole is left uncovered, close the cover and lock the binding clasps. *Connect the electric cord to the product's electric socket and then to the main power. The red "cook" lamp will light. Press the switch to start cooking. After doing so, the "cooking" light will turn on. *When the rice is ready, the red lamp will extinguish meaning the rice is done cooking and the green light will turn on which means the pot is in its warming mode. *For softer and more tasteful rice, let the bucket sit for about 10 minutes to abosrb the redundant water. *If you will be suing the food container to keep other foods warm, place the container above the rice pot after the rice is done cooking. *Before enjoying your meal, please remember to pull the main power's plug.

 It works OK, rice comes out nice, By This review is from: Takeru Mini Rice Cooker / Warmer Super Lunch Box / Jar Travel Kitchen 0.8L (HL-901A) I bought this because there are very few small rice cookers available. I wanted something I could turn on and walk away from then let it do it's job. While this accomplishes the goal, I wish it did more. It does not have a timer, that would have been a perfect addition. It does not really provide much in the way of being portable, it's more like a table top rice cooker with a small food warmer on top. Its also not a steamer, it's more of a warmer.The cooking dish is aluminum lined with non-stick coating. Anyone who is afraid of eating with aluminum touching their food should be OK, but those not liking to eat with food cooked on a non-stick surface, beware. I knew it would take a few tries to get the basmati rice timing and amounts correct so I decided to go with one of the little measuring cups (comes with the cooker) and follow the directions.
