No problems whatsoever. The rice on the very bottom does always turn brown and sticks to the pot but we just don't use the small part that sticks (and the instructions say this will happen). Can cook any amount of rice and it always comes out perfect. It does come out sticky but that's how I like it. One can always rinse the starch out of the rice more to make it less sticky. You don't have to watch the pot or anything. Pour 2 parts rice to 3 parts water, flip on the cook, and it automatically turns to warm when it's done. About 20 minutes. Cheap, efficient. No problems with mine. It does what it's called: cooks rice.UPDATE: Stopped working one day for no reason. Guessing there might have been a little bit of water on the base of the pot but we're usually pretty good about making sure it's dry. Either way, worked perfectly for maybe 4 years, being used maybe once a week, so 200 uses isn't bad for that price. This isn't my first rice cooker, so I know there are better products out there. |
