Prepare Flawless Rice with the Rival 16 Cup rice Cooker w/Steaming Basket

A complete, healthy, fat-free meal can be prepared in this 16-cup-capacity rice cooker. The nonstick removable inner pot produces up to eight cups of cooked rice, while the perforated metal steaming basket holds enough vegetables or shrimp for three or four hungry people. Easy to operate, the cooker features just one switch and two settings, cook and keep warm. During cooking, a red light is illuminated; when cooking is complete, the switch automatically reverts to the keep warm setting and a yellow light comes on. Moisture and nutrients are sent back into the cooker by the domed glass lid, which also allows viewing.

After cooking, the rice should be allowed to sit for about ten minutes before the lid is removed. Included with the cooker is a plastic paddle for stirring and serving the rice, as well as a plastic measuring cup. The cup, paddle, pot, and steamer all should be washed by hand in hot, soapy water after each use. When fully assembled, the steamer stands 11-1/2 inches tall and 10 inches in diameter (11-1/2 including handles). The inner pot features markings in liters and cups.
