Outstanding Rice Cooker better than any Zojirushi,

I don't know what the other reviewer was doing wrong but my oatmeal came outstanding and the brown rice come out equally well. A very easy to use rice cooker with many advanced features that the Zojirushi does not have. I paid $180 dollar Zojiushi that played Mozart when the rice was done and died shortly after one year(along with a Zojirushi bread maker); I think I will stick with Panasonic which are more dependable especially having using them for the last 20 years with no problem, just great rice

This review is from: Panasonic SR-DG182 10-Cup (Uncooked) Rice Cooker, White (Kitchen)
Love this rice cooker! I use it to cook white rice all the time and everytime it cooked perfect. Also use it to steam vegis and sometimes pork purse and the steaming function is great.
Easy to clean as well, the non-stick area's coating is much better than some cheap $20 rice cooker, as long as you don't use abrasive cleaning cloth it won't scratch.
The steaming basket is included though, I don't know why someone in the review didn't get it in their package, maybe it was a opened item.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Panasonic SR-DG182 10-Cup (Uncooked) Rice Cooker, White (Kitchen)
I am very pleased with this rice cooker. While I haven't had an opportunity to test out using this for anything other than standard white long grain rice, it does a very good job with what that. It even works well with smaller amounts of rice than panasonic recommends (I have cooked as little as a cup without burning). The only complaint is that amazon's description is incorrect with this unit. The 20 cup (cooked) unit does not ship with a steamer basket (I checked panasonic's webpage), however I contacted amazon and they gave me a [...] certificate to purchase a replacement. I got this one: [...] which fits well, though sits on the bottom rather than the top of the cooking chamber (which I am fine with. More volume to steam). I would recommend this unit to anyone in need of a fuzzy logic cooker who might need to occasionally make large volumes of rice.
