love my new steamer,

I received this steamer as a x-mas gift. Love it. It works well and the vegetables taste great. Love that you just add water, veggies, set the timer and let it go. No watching pots on the stove. Not a big appliance but has big results.

I've been using it for a few months now, no problems and it cooks great every time! Good for cooking medium sized meals.

This steamer is easy to use and clean. It has a small footprint that takes up little room on the counter. I guess all steamers must have this safety feature, but the manual does not state that the machine will shut off if it runs out of water...it does. It's a very basic steamer with a manual timer. The most annoying part is that the timer does not make a sound when it has finished counting down.
One other nice thing... You can put a modified "petal steamer" inside the plastic bowls. Just remove the three legs of the petal steamer (break them off) and it fits perfectly into the plastic bowl. This makes it quite easy to remove vegetables after steaming.
So, if you need a small basic steamer, this is it. Otherwise, the competition has larger, feature-rich steamers for around the same price.
