Comment: Definitely worth the price paid. The steamer is very roomy and allows you to cook more than one veggie at a time. Great for corn on the cob and other garden vegetables. Very efficient and fast to fix a meal without having to keep an eye on it. Leave it alone and let it do the cooking. Very healthy alternative to boiling on the stove.

Comment: The Oster 5711 Mechanical Food Steamer steams a lot of vegetables perfectly and in less time than other steamers. I like the size of the steamer and clean-up is easy and simple. The water indicator is a great feature and makes for easy water refill, when necessary. I only steam vegetables in the steamer; tried steaming eggs, but they didn't turn out very well. Glad I purchased the Oster 5711 Mechanical Food Steamer and would recommend this steamer to those "veggie lovers".
