I didn't want to spend too much on one (i.e. Zojirushi). My criteria were simple, I wanted one with more than just a "cook" and "warm" setting. I wanted to be able to turn it off. It had to be digital but not necessarily programmable. My husband and I were also looking at the Krups FDH 212 before I saw this rice cooker. It has reached the stage that I am scared of using it and I have to switch to a Panasonic instead. In all fairness, apart from this issue, it cooked perfect rice. I used it mainly for brown rice and occasional white rice but had not tried the other functions. It seemed like a...Read more |
