IMUSA 32-qt. Aluminum Tamale Steamer

I ordered it from Amazon / Target but it comes from Columbia, not China. No good for the Smokey Joe smoker conversion.

I bought this to use as a cheap brew kettle. Metal is a bit on the thin side, but if nothing else that makes it easy to drill for the spigot. I have thus far boiled water in it once, and did a full 7 gallon boil in this for a batch of beer. I was concerned with picking it up by the handles with a full 7 gallons in it, but it did fine. I don't know how durable it will end up being, but it worked fine for this batch. Only sign of wear is burnt malt sugars on the bottom of the inside, but that is my fault for not stirring enough, and it is scrubbing off with a little work.

Overall good purchase for the price and makes an adequate brew kettle thus far.

Needed a big boiling pot... would have liked to get a 10 gal, but 8 will work. At $20, can't beat the price.
