The very good looking pot that holds this set of tools makes an attractive display on the kitchen counter. The tools are very well made, and useful as well as handy. However, there are two faults, due to molding techniques. 1 The pasta fork tends to deform in the heat of the pasta. 2 The large spatula has rims around the holes, which interfere with tender foods, such as eggs.

i guess you get what you pay for. the only item of good quality in this set is the container that holds the pieces. i had one of the ladles in a pot of pasta that was only med high heat and the heat made the plastic shrink. the quality of this product is very cheap plastic. it feels like a toy. do not buy this junk. i wish someone would have revieed this as junk so that i didnt waste $15 on this crap. after the first ladle got deformed, i tried one of the pasta spoons and one scoop into the med high heated water and it ALSO melted. one scooop!!! this is junk and farberware should be embarassed to produce such cheap quality products. i wanted to write their company but couldnt even find the product listed on their website.

... they will melt. Two of the items have already melted, either because I was using them under high heat or because I left them too near the burner. Other than that, they are reasonably attractive for what they are.
