This is an item that could easily be on that american sitcom Home Improvement- It definitely is built with a guy in mind (sorry ladies! lol) its very VERY sturdy and is NOT a wire/steel mesh like so many of the others that just end up rusting or with tiny bits of food or shredded cleaning cloth inside of the mesh- THIS IS PURE JOY to use on any pan or pot, I just enjoy frying stuff to see how great this stops the messy splatter or eruption of oil geysers, good price and great value

This Calphalon Splatter Guard is so much better than the splatter screens I had (which I gave away). This one size splatter guard will fit an 8, 10 or 12 inch pan. It is definately a quality item and has some weight to it. If your thinking about a splatter guard for your Calphalon or any other cookware, I would hightly recommend this one.

I cook a full breakfast for my husband and me every morning before we head off to work. Having gone through countless of those wire splatter guards that seem to tear within days of purchase, I was delighted to find the Calphalon 13-Inch Universal Splatter Guard online. It fits securely on any size pot or pan, is lightweight yet sturdy, and cleans up in a breeze through hand washing or in the dishwasher. I can see this lasting for years. A very good quality, well-designed product that I'm glad to have.
