We use it for cooking brown rice, white jasmin rice. The rice comes out really nice. You need to adjust the quantity of water you use to get the right softness of rice. This can cook only 3 cups ( 3 X 6 OZ by volume) of uncooked rice and makes about 6 cups of cooked rice. Also you need to be gentle while cleaning the cooker itself since any abrasive material can easily scratch the cooking surface.
