My sister and I both own this rice cooker and it works great. My only suggestion is that it tends to make a mess of your countertop (steam creates a "coating" on countertop) but that can easily be resolved by putting a small dishtowel under the cooker during use. This cooker even cooks brown rice perfectly which I always found difficult to accomplish stovetop. I would purchase it again.

This is a good product and everything works fine. Only problem is that the product display on amazon is kind of misleading. When you check the product on amazon, it shows that includes rice paddle, measuring cup and a seperate vessel(which doesn't include in the package).
I was expecting the vessel showing in the picture.

The 7-cup aroma rice cooker is a good one for the price. That's said, do not expect fancy features on this one. There is one thing you should know: the cooker is not non-stick so there will be some burned/sticky rice at the bottom (if you buy a non-stick cooker, there will be no stick). However, if you are ok with that (I am cool with that), then the cooker is a good buy: it cooks rice. One small tip for others who may have not much experience with rice cooking: the key in rice cooking is to get the right amount of water and this varies from rice to rice, you need to cook (use the standard cup measure and the water level number as rough guidance only).
Overall, a good buy because of the price, if you are looking for a no-frill/inexpensive rice cooker.
